At age 21 Dean Chitren played his first round of golf at Minerva Lakes Golf Course in Columbus, Ohio almost breaking 100, from there he picked up his first copy of Ben Hogan’s classic book “Five Lessons: The Modern Fundamentals of Golf ” to learn how to play.
He has also worked with Mr. Bob Toski who joined the PGA Tour in 1949 and was the leading money winner in 1954, winning four times. Mr. Bob Toski is still ranked among the top 15 greatest teachers in the World.
Since then he has become a professional golfer, teacher and fan of the game with aspirations to one day hold the U.S. Open Trophy.
In addition to his golf game, Dean is a highly passionate individual with an outgoing personality and business acumen, which is why he created the DC Golf Entertainment which provides executives, business owners and individuals an opportunity to enjoy an On-Course Playing Lesson.
Dean has competed on the Minor League Tour of South Florida and will continue to compete there, honing his skills which will take him to the Nationwide Tour and on to the PGA Tour, where his desire and ability to win will solidify him as a championship caliber PGA Tour Professional.
Ben Hogan had the biggest impact on the development of his golf swing. You can see that when you play a round of golf with Dean or see his swing on TV.
